Questions And Answered

1
What is the working principle of the air filtration device?
The air filtration device consists of a housing, filter materials and other components. When a pressure difference occurs between the inside and outside of the sealed enclosure, air exchange takes place through this device. Meanwhile, it can effectively block dust, salt spray and other solid particulates from entering the sealed enclosure.
2
How many tripping coils and closing coils can be fitted within one circuit breaker cubicle?
Available tripping coil options include conventional tripping coils, low power tripping coils (for self powered protection relays), and under voltage trip coils. Only conventional closing coils are available. For the manual charge operating mechanism, up to two tripping coils can be fitted. Closing coils are normally not supplied, though one closing coil may be optionally fitted. For the electric charge operating mechanism, two tripping coils and one closing coil can be selected.
3
What is the minimum height of the 24 kV switchgear, and what impact does this height have on CT and PT installation?
Excluding the secondary top compartment, the minimum height of the 24 kV switchgear is 1700 mm. This height imposes considerable constraints on the installation of CTs and busbar PTs. It is recommended to select 1 A for the CT secondary current. Please consult us for detailed accuracy class and burden parameters. If busbar PTs are adopted, please consult us on the installation arrangement.
4
Are pressure relief vents provided within the switchgear?
Pressure relief vents are fitted as standard across all cabinet types. The IAC internal arc classification is AFLR 20 kA/1 s, 25 kA/1 s and 31.5 kA/0.5 s.
